Kate Kourlis brings a rare mix of Wall Street experience, private equity insight and an extensive recruitment network to her role as CEO and founder of KLK Talent. A Colorado native and Stanford graduate, she began her career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley in New York, advising portfolio companies for leading firms including Bain, KKR and Warburg. Returning to Denver, she joined legacy firm KRG Capital Partners as a private equity investment associate. Kate has spent over a decade recruiting top talent for private equity and investment firms first at Henkel Search Partners and later at GoBuyside.
Kate earned a master’s from the University of Denver, where she helped launch the school’s student-run venture fund and continues to serve on its advisory board. Her career has come full circle—from IB analyst to PE investor to recruiter, and now back to private equity as she bought her recruiting company through a PE deal. Whether building relationships with clients or shaping strategic talent solutions, she combines sharp market knowledge with a genuine passion for connecting great people with great opportunities.
